I was initially so pleased with the plan.

Gown choosing this weekend, HDB first appointment the next weekend then the photo shoot on the third. It seems that our marriage plans are moving on after a pause. But why is Murphy always right?

My unit chose to be on standby this weekend. To make it more sian, i was made a detachment 2IC meaning i have to call all on my list to make sure they are still staying in their old homes, no shifts. And to be more sian, when i called the unit, the NSF on the other side of the line told me it's very almost sure they'll activate this time. How to choose gown with dear in peace?

Fortunately Dear who's quite pro Singapore is so understanding. Wouldn't mind choosing the gown on her own if the little green men choose to make their once a few months appearance on the top left corner of TV screens..

This morning scored a double for Murphy. The hospital decides to conduct a civil emergency exercise next saturday!! On my first HDB appointment i had been waiting for the past quarter of the year!! So since it's gonna be a "MRT explosion with chemical leak", fractures and blown limbs should be expected and of course any Lee(Tom), Tan(Dick) and Goh(Harry) in the ortho dept should be making their way back to hospital to boost civil defence. Again i was fortunate enough that the consultant allowed me to be back in hospital late that day..

Really wondered if leeway weren't there for both occasions. Would have been my disaster instead.

I was free on other weekends, i would have happily participated in these activities but yet the dates have to clash like this.. I feel my psychological defence breaking down..
