Feel Cheated....

Why? Why was i cheated in primary school (1987-1992)?

Why did the teachers say we will have robots doing housework, cooking etc for us in the 21st century.. Why did they say we can have an underwater housing estate, looking at fishes swimming by everyday and worst of all, why did my art teacher praise those who drew flying cars when we were asked to portray an image in the 21st century (i.e. beginning from 2001)? How come 2005 already still almost the same one? Where's the robot maid? Where're the promised flying cars that can make transport so much more faster?

Now i still have to wake up at 5am if i'm posted to a far hospital cos i need time to prepare for class and take the land roving bus to the hospital... Then return home at 6+ alomst 7pm if i knock off exactly at 5pm to be left with 4 over hours of time to settle everything i need to settle before rushing off to sleep to avoid zzz monsters attacking me the following day.. (Where're the flying cars?!!!?)

Hopefully i'm feeling this fatigue because of NSC's posting only.. Glad it's over.. (Where're the flying cars?!!!?)

Read an article today about a man trying to sue a driver for reversing very quickly over a long distance in a carpark that resulted in the car knocking down the man's wife, leaving her in coma.. He lost.. because the judge said the lady was partially to be blamed too, for not looking out for traffic properly..

Well.. i dunno if i was feeling sympathetic, but looking at the diagram depicting what happened.. It looked like the lady felt the coast was clear when a car moving in the correct direction passed her and she then started to cross, not taking note of the culprit car reversing in the same lane from the other direction. I really think most humans would have already developed a habit and cross the moment the coast is clear on the nearer lane.. and of course not expect a reversing car from the opposite direction in the same lane to come rushing..

Hai.. quite sad for the family.. maybe the judge is judiciously correct. but humanely? Reminds me of those who unitentionally allow illegal foreign workers with fake IDs to rent their homes. Judiciously guilty but humanely?

Well, the car incident wouldn't have happened if cars could fly above humans and avoid pedestranal accidents. (Where're the flying cars?!!!?)

RETURN ME MY PRIMARY SCHOOL'S ART LESSONS' FEES!!!

(kee seow liao, must be too little sleep...)
